#JustTurnUp

If just 100 people turn up, work stops for the day. Just choose a day and make your way to Preston New Road by car, train, bus, bicycle or on foot.

How to get there

The fracking site is just next to Staining Wood Farm bus stop, on the 61 bus route from Preston to Blackpool. Travelling by car you can park at Maple Farm Garden Centre and then walk East along the A683 for 10 minutes along the narrow pavement

What to expect

Lots of people are worried about coming to a demonstration, especially one that has a heavy police presence like Preston New Road. However, it is possible to remain completely safe and have a pleasant day out without any confrontation.

What to bring

Bring a drink and some lunch, and something to sit on if you need it. If you can play a musical instrument bring that, also perhaps a board game or something to pass the time between lorries entering or leaving.

Protesters are at the fracking site every day and night. There are some Special Events organised by Reclaim the Power, Faith Groups & Friends of the Earth, but if you can’t make these just turn up – you’ll be very welcome.
